Lingua Clara unites creators from many countries. Together, we make language acquisition easy, fun and available to everyone.
Our story
Why we started Lingua Clara
Most of us studied languages at school for many years. We learned grammar rules, word lists and verb tables. We did exercises and tests. After all those years, we still could not understand a native speaker or have a real conversation.
Classic language lessons do not work for most people. They teach you about a language. They do not give you the language.
Then we found comprehensible input. We tried it on ourselves first. We watched videos and listened to stories that we understood, for many hours. It worked. Each week we understood more, and speech came by itself.
But good input was difficult to find. Most videos were too fast for beginners or too boring to watch. So we decided to make the videos ourselves.
We tested the method on ourselves before we built it for you.
